Welcome to Media Candy! Do you love catching up on the latest celebrity gossip from outlets such as E!, perezhilton.com, or just even the entertainment section of you local paper? Well this may be for you!
Media Candy hopes to delve deeper into pop culture, and not take such a passive stance on what is put in front of us in the media on a daily basis. While the blogs here will be light hearted for the most part, I challenge YOU, the reader to take a more critical and proactive stance on what you see, read, and hear!
Ever wonder why certain things are in the media while others are 'virtually brushed under the rug'? This blog will question the gatekeepers of our media as well as whether or not the breaking news of the day is truly earthshattering or not!

Every week we will have a section in each blog called "Newsworthy or not: You Be the Judge". I would love to hear comments from everyone about the piece of information presented and then I will at the end of each week be putting my slant on it!
